However the facts are:
He DID NOT have a starring role on “Underbelly” or “Ganz of Oz” – they were two second non speaking roles, he is not a TV star in Australia and he is not a tv star in the UK. (See his IMDb ...even the role listed is an extra role if you happen to talk to people who were also on the film).
He does NOT have an extensive acting career in any form but by his own admission in an Australian paper has NEVER ACTED before "It has been a whirlwind year for Oatway, who until his small part in Underbelly had never acted before in his life." so the UK history is obviously a lie. (He also claims to have worked for the BBC but that has also been discredited by the BBC)
He Claims he is in the USA on a work visa sponsored by Sony (A fact they vehemently deny so in fact he is probably illegally there, which means he is taking work from genuine actors who are trying to make an honest living) He claimed to one source that he has been give a role over A lister Jason Stanthorpe without an audition and that he has been given a lead role on Broadway - so far neither of these claims have been confirmed either. Are filmmakers and producers total schmucks and employing without checking his talent and his resume or are these lies too? Even worse, he is claiming an SAS hero history that so far cannot be confirmed - a slur on all those men who HAVE bravely fought for their country in the SAS and other elite troops.
Sadly, everyone who has helped him on his way "to the top" have been burned and dumped as soon as someone higher up the food chain has nievely offered their services to him. And now he is starting to put his name to Charities - would you trust a man who simply cannot tell the truth to support something so important?
Of course, it does beg the question - what filmmaker employs an actor without checking his IMDb to confirm his assertions of fame? What company takes on a man who makes such outragous claims without checking them first and thereby risking their own credibility so badly?
For shame Mr Oatway! You deserve to be deported back to Britain and to compensate all those you have taken advantage of on your way "up the ladder"!
